The NRC staff reviewed the Columbia Generating Station license renewal application for compliance with the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 54, "Requirements for Renewal of Operating Licenses for Nuclear Power Plants," and prepared this report to document its preliminary findings. The document was issued on August 30, 2011, as "Safety Evaluation Report with Open Items Related to the License Renewal of Columbia Generating Station."

Subsequently, on February 28, 2012, the document "Safety Evaluation Report Related to the License Renewal of Columbia Generating Station" was issued.

In May 2012, the staff published the final "Safety Evaluation Report Related to the License Renewal of Columbia Generating Station" as NUREG-2123.
