Locations of Fuel Cycle Facilities

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulates all of the major, commercial fuel cycle facilities in the Nation. That includes facilities located or licensed in Idaho, Illinois, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Washington. The following map depicts the locations of these sites, while the table below the map identifies each facility by licensee, location, type, and docket number.

Region II oversees all commercial nuclear fuel facilities in the United States of America. This includes fuel facilities in Illinois and Ohio which would normally be located in Region III, as well as New Mexico and Washington (Region IV).
