Record Authentication Process

These are not FOIA requests, but a request to certify that copies of records are true representations of NRC official records.

Request a certification of records request to the NRC Public Document Room by sending an email to pdr.resource@nrc.gov.

If you send your records certification request to the NRC FOIA Team, please provide us with the ADAMS accession numbers, a copy of the records, or a bibliographic list of the records with as much information as possible. We also need to know if you prefer the response electronically or in paper format. We will obtain a copy of the official agency records. The Agency Records Officer then works with the Secretary of the Commission on the certification process. Once we receive the final package from the Agency Records Officer, we will provide the records and certification to you.
