Overview

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) fiscal year (FY) 2008 Performance Budget provides the resources necessary to carry out the agency's mission. The NRC's proposed FY 2008 budget is $916.6 million, which represents an increase of $91.7 million over the FY 2007 budget. The FY 2008 budget is offset by $765 million from fees assessed to NRC licensees, resulting in a net appropriation of $151.6 million.
