Overview

The Fiscal Year (FY) 2005 Performance Budget submitted by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) supports the implementation of the agency's Strategic Plan goals and strategies for FY 2000 – FY 2005. The NRC's proposed FY 2005 budget totals $670.3 million, which represents an increase of $44.2 million over the FY 2004 budget. This budget reflects $541.1 million from fees assessed to NRC licensees, resulting in a net usage of appropriated funds of $129.2 million.
