Resource Estimates for License Amendment Requests to Adopt Approved Travelers

The following resource estimates include the list of Travelers that have been adopted via license amendment by at least four operating reactors since 2018.  This minimum sample size ensures accuracy in the median ranges provided.  Select any TSTF entry in the graphic below to view documents on the subject of each Traveler in the NRC’s web-based Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS).

The TSTF Traveler program is designed to streamline the process and efficiently review and approve changes to the Standard Technical Specifications (STS).  When a licensee requests to “adopt” an NRC-approved TSTF traveler, the associated model application, standardized changes to the STS, and model safety evaluation reduce the NRC resources and timeline needed to complete the review.
