What:   Application for Standard Design Certification for the Advanced Power Reactor 1400 (APR1400), a 4,000-MWt pressurized-water reactor (PWR)
 
When:   KEPCO and KHNP submitted the Standard Design Certification Application on December 23, 2014. The staff of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is currently performing a detailed review of that application.
