Margaret Ellenson

Margaret Ellenson has 17 years of experience in the nuclear industry and is currently a senior engineer with Kairos Power on the licensing team. She is responsible for licensing activities related to structural graphite materials, material control and accounting, physical security, structural design, and instrumentation and control, including the associated content in the preliminary safety analysis report for the Hermes non-power reactor. Before joining Kairos Power, Margaret worked for 15 years at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in rulemaking, vulnerability analysis, probabilistic risk analysis, and material science research. Margaret earned a Masters of Science degree from the University of California at Berkeley, in Material Science Engineering.
