T4 Security Cornerstone: Adequate Protection Now and in the Future

Since the events of September 11, 2001, the security posture of the nuclear industry has adapted to keep pace with an evolving threat environment. As security requirements and licensee security programs within the operating reactor community have changed to keep pace, so too has our understanding of how the Security Cornerstone inspection framework can continue to adapt to ensure adequate protection both now and in the future. During this session, a panel consisting of experts from the NRC, the industry, and a national laboratory will discuss recent security initiatives and how similar approaches and concepts will continue to shape the future of nuclear security.
