Sean Peters

Mr. Peters has been with the NRC for over 20 years serving in various positions within the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, Region I, and the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research (RES), including Reactor Systems Engineer, Regional Inspector, Technical Assistant, and Senior Project Manager.  For the last 12 years, he has served as the Chief for the Human Factors and Reliability Branch in RES.  Prior to joining the NRC, Mr. Peters was an Aerospace/Mechanical Design Engineer for Lockheed and Boeing working on NASA and commercial programs including the Space Shuttle, Space Station, and Delta IV rockets.  He also worked at Boeing as a Field Service Engineer supporting the Air Force 1 and Air Force 2 fleets.
