WMS-NRC Waste Management Symposia (WMS) & NRC RIC Information Exchange Simulcast

Sponsored by the Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards

The panel focuses on the exchange of information with the U.S. NRC Regulatory Information Conference (RIC) and WM2021 conference.  A one-hour joint session will be held to provide information to attendees with an overview of the contents and major program activities taking place at the RIC so that attendees at WM2021 can gain an understanding of the contents of this conference.  Similarly, information will include an overview of the key activities at WM2021 since that conference is taking place at the same time as the RIC.  It is important to conduct this joint session as many of the RIC attendees also attend the WMS conference and vice versa.  The virtual format for the RIC conference provides an excellent opportunity to share such information.
