Larry Camper

Mr. Camper is an experienced health physicist, radiation safety expert, environmental remediation expert and executive with more than forty-five years of professional experience within the military, private and public sectors. Mr. Camper retired as a Division Director and member of the Senior Executive Service with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Since retiring from the NRC, Mr. Camper has been very busy as a consultant and serves on the Board of Directors, Waste Management Symposia, Member, Decommissioning Nuclear Safety Review Board, EnergySolutions and as a Senior Fellow with the Nuclear Industry Council. Mr. Camper is certified by the Academy of Board Certified Environmental Professionals (environmental assessment) and by the National Registry of Environmental Professionals (Waste Management Professional). Mr. Camper is a recipient of the Richard S. Hodes, M.D. Honor Lecture Aware and the Sarge A. Osker Award both presented for excellence and leadership in the radioactive waste industry. Mr. Camper holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Radiological Science and Administration and a Master of Science Degree in Business Administration both from George Washington University.
