W15 Microreactors: The “Next Big Thing”

Emerging markets are defining a role for microreactors in diverse applications across North America. This panel will explore (1) the drivers for microreactors and government plans to support them in nontraditional roles such as providing power in remote locations, defense, resiliency, and backup generation and (2) the potential impact of the drivers on the licensing and authorization of nuclear facilities.
