T10 Nuclear Regulation in the Time of Transformation

This session will provide a view into the various approaches that global nuclear regulatory organizations are taking towards transformation. The speakers will focus on measures that have been implemented or are being considered to ensure their organizations become more modern and risk informed. In addition, the session will highlight how nuclear regulators addressed the COVID-19 pandemic, including balancing nuclear safety and security requirements with innovative approaches to ensure the efficient regulation of their nations’ nuclear fleets during a public health emergency.
