Purpose
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff will provide an update on the NRC’s Restart Panel activities and emergency preparedness plans for the Palisades Nuclear Plant (Palisades) potential resumption of power operations. Additionally, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will discuss their role regarding emergency preparedness for Palisades. The public is encouraged to ask questions about the NRC’s oversight pertaining to the potential Palisades restart.
