Purpose
The purpose of this meeting is to share the staff’s changes to the preliminary proposed rule, that would develop a regulatory framework under 10 CFR Part 30 for fusion machines, as a result of the ADVANCE Act of 2024 signed into law on July 9, 2024 (Public Law No: 118-67). The NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.
