Purpose
NRC staff are holding a public meeting from 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM on May 19, 2026, with advanced reactor vendors, partner agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate the exchange of information regarding the condition monitoring of plant equipment and the use of centralized maintenance and diagnostic (M&D) centers for data collection and sharing among nuclear facilities. Information gathered during this meeting will support the future development of NRC research and guidance, if needed, to enable the NRC staff’s efficient review of requests to use M&D centers for centralized condition monitoring. This meeting will be recorded to ensure all comments made during the meeting will be captured and summarized appropriately for the meeting summary and the report.
