Purpose
This meeting is to discuss the NRC staff's conditions on the endorsement of ASME Code Case N-940 in RG 1.87, Rev. 3. N-940 provides alternate rules for non-destructive examination and testing for the construction of ASME Section III nuclear items commensurate with an item’s contribution to safety or risk. This meeting will be a hybrid meeting and use Microsoft Teams. Please RSVP to the meeting contact at Matthew.Hiser@nrc.gov by April 27, 2026, if you plan to attend the meeting in person.
