Purpose
The purpose of this closed meeting is for NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC (NextEra) and Framatome to discuss with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff a planned license amendment request (LAR) to use Framatome ATRIUM 11 Fuel at the Duane Arnold Energy Center. The planned LAR would revise the plant technical specifications to adopt Framatome methodologies for ATRIUM 11 Fuel, should current amendments under review by the NRC staff to reauthorize power operation of the unit be approved.
