Purpose: The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the recently published proposed rule (91 FR 9733; February 27, 2026) to revise the NRC regulations in 10 CFR 50.55a to provide the NRC’s approval of the 2023 edition of the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel (BPV) code and recent ASME code cases related to the ASME BPV Code, Sections III and XI, and the ASME Operation and Maintenance of Nuclear Power Plants (OM) Code.
