Purpose
The purpose of this meeting between Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E, the licensee) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff, is to provide information regarding a proposed removal of Limiting Condition for Operation 3.0.4b from the Actions Note in Technical Specification (TS) 3.5.3, "ECCS [emergency core cooling systems] - Shutdown"; TS 3.7.5, "Auxiliary Feedwater (AFW) System"; and TS 3.8.1, "AC [alternating current] Sources - Operating," for Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2, using the Risk-Informed Process for Evaluation (RIPE).
