Purpose
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the recently published proposed rule (90 FR 59402; December 19, 2025) that proposes amending its regulations to incorporate by reference the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Standard (Std) 603-2018, “IEEE Standard Criteria for Safety Systems for Nuclear Power Generating Stations” and the accompanying Draft Guide-1251, Revision 1, “Guidance for the Power, Instrumentation, and Control Portions of Safety Systems for Nuclear Power Plants.”
