Purpose
NRC staff and industry representatives will discuss aerosol removal rate and environmental qualification guidance relevant to use of updated AST source term guidance. The workshops allow for the NRC’s external stakeholders to participate in the regulatory process through a comment gathering format as described in the NRC’s policy statement on public meetings at 86 FR 14964. The staff will collect comments and input through note-taking and will consider this information while drafting updates to guidance. Meeting POC is David Garmon (david.garmon@nrc.gov) and Bill Rautzen (william.rautzen@nrc.gov). Stakeholders who wish to attend in person should register via the webinar link and provide requested information via email to meeting POCs before September 19, 2025.
