Purpose
The purpose of this meeting is for NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC (NextEra, the licensee) to provide information on planned amendment requests for Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, related to the use of an Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) alternative approach for addressing seismic risk in Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 50.69 (10 CFR 50.69), "Risk-informed categorization and treatment of structures, systems and components for nuclear power reactors."
