Purpose: A panel of experts will discuss high burnup uranium dioxide fuel fragmentation, relocation, and dispersal (FFRD) during design basis accident conditions and on the consequences of fuel dispersal. The panel will complete phenomena identification and ranking tables related to fuel dispersal under accident conditions. This is a follow-up to the December 2023 PIRT panel meeting (ML23352A274). Discussions will be led by NRC contractors.
