Purpose
The NRC staff will discuss with Constellation Energy the proposed exceptions for independence and operating bypass in Clauses 5.6.1, 6.6 and 7.4 of IEEE-603-1991, as identified in the Limerick digital instrumentation and controls license amendment request. The purpose of the meeting is for the staff to gain a better understanding of the licensee’s approach to address the compliance basis with 10 CFR 50.55(a) and path forward for providing additional justification.
