Purpose: The purpose of this meeting is to present two draft appendices: Appendix K, “Monetary Valuation of Nonfatal Cancer Risk for Use in Cost-Benefit Analysis,” and Appendix L, “Replacement Energy Costs,” to NUREG/BR-0058, “Regulatory Analysis Guidelines of the U.S. NRC,” that are intended to provide information that the NRC staff will use in performing cost-benefit analyses in support of regulatory decisions. This meeting will facilitate public comment on the draft appendices that were issued for public comment on July 6, 2022.
