The purpose of this meeting is for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to provide information on a potential expedited request for Sequoyah Unit No. 2 related to obtaining relief per 10 CFR 50.55a(z)(2) from certain requirements of the American Society for Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Code Case N-729, “Alternative Examination Requirements for PWR Reactor Vessel Upper Heads With Nozzles Having Pressure-Retaining Partial-Penetration Welds Section XI, Division 1.”
