Purpose
The purpose of this meeting is to present updated information on replacement energy forecasts used in NRC cost-benefit analyses to estimate the impact of short- and long-term shutdowns of U.S. nuclear electricity generating units. This meeting will facilitate public comment on the draft NUREG-2242, “Replacement Energy Cost Estimates for Nuclear Power Plants: 2020-2030” that will be issued for public comment in November 2020.
