Purpose
To provide an opportunity for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and external stakeholders to exchange information on the proposed rule to update the fitness for duty drug testing requirements in 10 CFR Part 26 (Docket No. NRC-2009-0225). The NRC staff will also discuss and solicit feedback on the draft regulatory analysis, draft regulatory guidance, and specific requests for comments included in the proposed rule. This feedback will support the staff’s development of the final rule and aforementioned supporting documents.

Attendees are encouraged to review the presentation (available under Related Documents) prior to the meeting. Members of the public that will attend the meeting in person may pre-register for a visitor security badge. Email Stewart.Schneider@nrc.gov as soon as possible, but no later than Nov 5, 2019, and provide name and company or org. for each attendee. Arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for registration and an escort to the meeting room.
