Purpose
The purpose of this meeting is to allow the NRC staff and interested stakeholders to continue discussion of specific ideas and changes for consideration to build a smarter fuel cycle inspection program. The charter for the Working Group on Building a Smarter Fuel Cycle Inspection Program is available via the NRC’s Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML19074A139. The Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) presented specific ideas to enhance the NRC’s fuel cycle oversight program to NRC staff during a public meeting on June 27, 2019. The presentation materials from the June 27, 2019, meeting are available at ADAMS Accession No. ML19176A534 and will be further discussed during this meeting. The NRC and NEI presented additional details and proposals at a public meeting on August 8, 2019. The presentation materials from the August 8, 2019, meeting are available at ADAMS Accession Nos.
