Purpose
The purpose of the meeting is to provide insights and share experiences on issues relating to the operator licensing process. This year’s workshop will include presentations concerning resources available on the NRC website, the anatomy of an initial operator license exam, K/A matching, plausibility, NRC’s guidance on developing SRO-level test items, JPMs, the operating test, and a question-and-answer forum. Most importantly, the workshop will focus on recent changes in NUREG-1021, Operator Licensing Examination Standards for Power Reactors, Revision 11.
