The NRC staff requests that the prospective applicant identify the business model for the proposed facility.

The applicant should be prepared to discuss the business model for the proposed facility. The business model will help the NRC understand the use case and economic feasibility for the facility and provide insight into whether the proposed licensing pathway is appropriate. Applicants should be able to identify the funding source for the developmental work and the target customer or industry for the proposed facilities.
