The regulatory landscape of 10 CFR 50.160 is a risk-informed, performance-based, technology- inclusive, and consequence-oriented emergency preparedness. This exhibit will provide information to applicants on NRC products to support licensing reviews for small modular reactors and other new technologies. These products include regulatory guides, interim staff guidance, and NUREGs that provide acceptable methods for licensing under the new framework including how to apply a graded approach to emergency preparedness, scalable emergency planning zones, and findings needed for reasonable assurance.
