Rulemaking Innovation: A Grassroots Initiative to Reimagine the Product Development Cycle

The NRC’s Rulemaking Center of Expertise is improving the NRC’s rulemaking process to align with the agency’s vision of being a modern, risk-informed regulator. This initiative involves a holistic, integrated review of all aspects of the rulemaking process to identify opportunities for improving quality, timeliness, and stakeholder engagement. The staff has identified and is pursuing a number of innovative ways to improve the product development cycle, with potential for broader application across the agency in several areas. This digital exhibit will showcase completed accomplishments and progress underway.
