The Future is Now: An Interactive Timeline

The paradigm is shifting. In order to meet its mission no matter what the future holds, the NRC is transforming to be a modern, risk-informed regulator. In this interactive exhibit, participants will be able to explore the NRC’s transformation journey in four virtual “rooms.” First, step into four hypothetical versions of 2040. Then, learn about the first agency-wide conversation (or Jam) in the Federal Government. Next, dive deeper into our vision for transformation. Finally, hear from staff across the agency who are demonstrating what it means to be a modern, risk-informed regulator.
