Marlayna Doell

Ms. Doell joined the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission after receiving her Bachelors Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Materials Science and Engineering, and has been with the agency for approximately sixteen years.  During this time she served as the Project Manager for the Shearon Harris and H.B. Robinson nuclear facilities, acted as the lead project manager for the National Fire Protection Association Standard 805 effort, was a chapter lead for the design certification of the ESBWR standard reactor design, and served as a Vendor and QA Inspector in the Office of New Reactors.  Currently, Ms. Doell is a Decommissioning Project Manager, where she is the lead for the decommissioning activities associated with the West Valley Demonstration Project, the Duane Arnold and Kewaunee nuclear facilities, the La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor, and the General Atomics TRIGA reactors.  She is also a technical lead for a portion of the ongoing decommissioning rulemaking activities underway at the NRC.
