Hector Rodrigue

Dr. Hector Rodriguez-Luccioni (Pronouns: They/Them or He/Him) is a License Renewal Project Manager in the Division of New and Renewed Licenses in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR). They joined the NRC in 2010 under the Nuclear Safety Professional Development Program as a Project Manager in the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research.  Prior to NRR, Hector served as an International Safeguards Analyst and as an Exempt License Reviewer in the Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards.  They earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico.  

Hector is the Vice-Chair of the NRC Pride Alliance Advisory Committee, where they advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.  They promote and advocate for an inclusive, diverse, open, collaborative and safe work environment at the NRC where everyone can bring their whole authentic self to work.
