W19 Space Nuclear Power Systems—To Cislunar and Beyond!

This session will provide exciting updates on plans for space and planetary exploration using innovative nuclear power systems. These systems can include radioisotope thermoelectric generators, space propulsion systems, and lunar- or Mars-based nuclear power systems. Find out about the missions being pursued, as well as the types of nuclear power systems needed to enable these missions.
