Joseph Colaccino

Mr. Colaccino started his career at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission in 1990 as a mechanical engineer in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR).  He started working in NRR's New Reactor Licensing Project Office in 2003 and has held a number of positions related to new reactor licensing as well as construction oversight.  Mr. Colaccino's current position includes collateral duties to advise on the 10 CFR Part 52 rulemaking as well as developing a procedure to the "103(g) finding" that all ITAAC have been met; after which a licensee is allowed to operate the facility.
