Jessica Kratchman

Dr. Jessica Kratchman is an Environmental Engineer for the Office of New Reactors in the Division of Siting, Licensing and Environmental Analysis. She has her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Fire Project Engineer and her Doctorate in Environmental and Occupational Health.  Dr. Kratchman has worked at the NRC for 11 years in a variety of NRC offices including the Office of Research, the Office of Nuclear Security of Incident Response, and the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulations.  Her current technical focus is federal streamlining efforts under National Environmental Policy Act and NEPA alternatives analysis for the licensing of new reactors.  She is currently on detail to the Federal Permitting Improvement Steering Counsel which oversee the implementation of streamlining efforts for the federal government.
