W22  Use of Advanced Manufacturing Technology for Power Reactors

With the technological leaps being made in additive manufacturing (i.e., three-dimensional printing) and other innovative manufacturing techniques, the NRC is ensuring its readiness to perform reviews of expected in-plant applications of such techniques. This session includes information from the industry and DOE to provide an overview of the expectations for licensee use of advanced manufacturing techniques to fabricate new or replacement parts.
