Ms. Kock has served the USNRC for 20 years in positions of increasing responsibility. Since March 2016, Ms. Kock has been the Deputy Director of the Division of Decommissioning, Uranium Recovery, and Waste Programs in the Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards. Ms. Kock was selected into the Senior Executive Service in 2014, and from 2014-2016, was the Deputy Director of the Division of Site Safety and Environmental Analysis in the Office of New Reactors at the USNRC. From 2007-2014, she held supervisory positions as the Chief of the Environmental Review Branch and Chief of the Performance Assessment Branch in the Office of Federal and State Materials and Environmental Management Programs and Chief of the Financial and International Projects Branch in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation. From 2010-2013, Ms. Kock supported one of the agency’s five Commissioners, Commissioner William Ostendorff, as a Policy Advisor for Materials issues. She has experience in a broad range of positions in both NRC Region III and Headquarters including materials inspector, reactor health physics inspector, allegation coordinator, allegation specialist, and technical assistant in the Office of the Executive Director for Operation. Ms. Kock received an M.S. in Environmental Health Science with a concentration in radiological health from the University of Michigan in 1996 and was a DOE Health Physics Fellow.
