Patrick Hanks

Patrick Hanks is a Computer Forensic Specialist and Special Agent for the NRC OIG.  Prior to working five years for the NRC, he was a Special Agent for the Food and Drug Administration for five years and the Department of Homeland Security for 10 years.  He has specialized experience using computer forensics software and covert electronic surveillance equipment in his investigations of cyber-crime, computer misconduct, misuse of funds, fraud, and counterfeited products.  His computer certifications include Digital Evidence Acquisition Specialist Training Program (DEASTP), Seized Computer Evidence Recovery Specialist (SCERS), EnCE, and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).  He has a Bachelor Degree in Finance and Banking.  In addition, he served six years in the United States Military.
