Donald Chung

Mr. Donald Chung is a Reliability and Risk Analyst at the US NRC.  He has over 30 years of experience working in the nuclear industry.  He supported the NRC, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulations in risk-informed regulatory decision making for over 10 years, and currently, he is leading the effort to improve the efficiency of regulatory activities for spent fuel dry storage. Prior to joining the NRC, he held position of senior engineer for SCIENTECH, and Johnson Controls.  He has a Bachelor of Science in Material Science and a Doctorate in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Maryland.
