  • Various R&D projects concerning material and structural behavior under mechanical and thermal stresses, accident scenarios and long-term behavior 

  • National and international cooperation

  • Information and support to administration, industry, and the public

  • Since 20010 Member of the German Waste Management Commission

  • Committee on Waste Conditioning, Transport and Interim Storage (ESK-AZ)
  • Consultant for the IAEA
