Jennifer Uhle

Dr. Jennifer L. Uhle is the Deputy of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR). Jennifer graduated from MIT with a B.S. in nuclear engineering in 1991. She was then hired by the NRC and returned to MIT under the NRC Graduate Fellowship Program. She obtained a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering from MIT in 1996. Since 1996, Jennifer has worked at the NRC in a number of progressively more responsible positions including Special Assistant for Reactor Programs in former Chairman Meserve's office, and Chief of the PWR Systems Section in NRR. In 2005, she was selected to the Senior Executive Service and served as the Director of the Division of Engineering in the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research (RES), Director of the Division of Systems Analysis. She was selected and served as the Deputy Director of RES in 2010 until obtaining her current position.
