Thomas H. Boyce

Tom Boyce is currently Branch Chief for the Regulatory Guide and Generic Issues Branch, Division of Engineering, in the Office of Research.   He has over 30 years of nuclear experience, including 24 years at NRC and 7 years in submarines in the U.S. Navy, and has held a variety of jobs during his career.

Mr. Boyce has served as a nuclear Congressional Fellow on the personal staff of Senator Voinovich (R-Ohio), and branch chief in NRC for several branches, including Operating Plant Licensing, Budget and Human Capital, and plant Technical Specifications, as well as assignments in reactor inspection and oversight.  Prior to that, he was a licensing project manager in NRC for the GE ABWR and ITAAC as part of new reactor licensing.

Mr. Boyce holds an MBA in Finance, a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, a BS degree in Sociology, and is a Professional Engineer in the State of Virginia.
