Nestor Féliz-Adorno

Néstor J. Féliz Adorno joined NRC in 2006 and graduated from the Nuclear Safety Professional Development Program in 2008. Since that time Mr. Féliz Adorno has served as a region-based inspector in the Division of Reactor Safety of Region III performing various engineering-focused inspections and activities such as Component Design Basis and License Renewal Inspections. In addition, he has served as the regional technical point of contact for the subjects of gas accumulation management and containment sump strainers. Recently, he led the inspection effort associated with gas accumulation in piping at Region III. Mr. Féliz Adorno earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus, and a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
