The Human Factors group at Human Solutions, Inc. supports air traffic control, automation, surveillance, weather, and information systems programs extensively for the Federal Aviation Administration to help design, develop, test and deploy new, advanced air traffic systems in the National Airspace to meet the growing demands. They apply expertise and knowledge of human factors in evaluating systems for compliance with human factors design standards, requirements and recommended practices; defining HF impacts and constraints; identifying and designing human-to-system interfaces; and preparing HF portions of Acquisition and Test & Evaluation (T&E) documentation.  Additionally, they develop the experimental design and conduct tests and evaluations at FAA, vendor sites and air traffic control facilities; develop and analyze operational scenarios and models; perform usability assessments; apply HF concepts to human-to-system interface design; and coordinate HF efforts and customer workgroup activities.
